This week 1a was discussing all about bullying, and how they all felt about it. At the end of the week they made fridge magnets on anti bullying, they made these on paper and then lamenated them, then we stuck a magnet on, the children enjoyed doing these and said they would see them every day. Also this week was children in need on friday all children came in no uniform and gave £1, they all coloured in pudsey teddie bears and cut them out, they then stuck lollipop sticks on.

This week 1a was learning in Literacy lesson poems about Autumn what they could smell, feel, see, and hear the children came up with lots of ideas including birds singing leaves rustling when walking on them as you can see in the photo. They also wrote sentences on what they could hear feel see and smell.

This term 1a was doing work on how we feel they were asked to draw and right about what they liked in 1a.
We then told them that we are going to make collages of themselves and we went through using colours to how they felt, they then went and choice different colour tissue paper and pasted them on to black card, we then gave them mirrors and said look at yourself and draw your own portrait. The children enjoyed doing this and when all was complete we displayed on the notice board outside the classroom as you can see from photo.

On the 25th September 1a choice to do Italy for their language day, the pupils painted of crayoned pictures of flags they also built leaning tower Pisa which they used marshmallows and spaghetti, they found this fun but not as easy as it looked but some managed to do this as you can see on the photo.
During the day they visited other classrooms and visited other countries including Paris where they learnt to speak and greet, Spain where they made fans, China where they tried different food, Ireland where they tried different clothes and counted upto 10, also went to Spain again and learnt colours and made fans using colours from language the children enjoyed all the countries and was excited when telling parents everyone including teachers etc enjoyed the day.

On the 25th September 1a was celebrating language day we got the pupils to paint or crayon flags, and also they made the leaning tower of pisa which we made out of marshmellows and spaghetti.
When children came to build their towers they found this to be fun and not as easy as sounded all enjoyed as you can see on some of the photos. During the day the children visited other classrooms and different countries including Paris where we spoke Spain where we made fans, Ireland where we learnt to dance and see different costumes and count, China where we ate different food and writing names with different alphabet, we visited Spain in 2p and learnt colours and fans using the language of different colours. The children all enjoyed and was excited when telling parents.
